Does anyone here use PhotoImpact 11 from Ulead? I haven't tried any photoediting
software until now, but I just ordered this program. I couldn't afford CS2 and I think
that Elements would have made me only long for something greater so I decided to try this
one. Anyone have any comments about it or have experience with it?

The Gimp is suprisingly good for being free. I use it all the time in both Linux and
Windows. It might be a little less user friendly than PS, and have fewer third party
plug-ins, but I think the core functionality is pretty similar to PS.
